Arbutus Table
Arbutus/Madrona, Steel 29”H x 32”W x 108”L This slab of arbutus was salvaged from a very large arbutus tree that had to be removed from the client’s property in order to build their home. The stump from the tree can be seen directly outside the window on the far side of the table. We built the table as a homage to the great tree that once grew only feet from it’s new home. The base is a deconstructivist take on the traditional trestle table base. |
